"While My Vet Animal Hospital is not my primary veterinary hospital, the rescue that I foster for uses them, I found myself in need of emergency surgery for my personal pet after he ingested multiple strings while bringing in a foster when we could not get into our primary care hospital.Dr. Watts and the team at My Vet were absolutely phenomenal throughout this process - even though they had to squeeze Theo in and he was not a patient prior to this emergency, there was no hesitation on their end to say he could come for x-rays. Theo did require surgery, which meant that the team was staying later than they had to so they could provide him with care. The day we were there was clearly very busy, and I can only imagine how stressful it had to of been but we were shown nothing but empathy and compassion when it came to Theo's care.They were upfront and communicative throughout the entire process, checking in with me about his care before, during, and after the procedure and ensuring that he was healing well when he was sent home.It will be a month in a week since his surgery, and he has recovered like nothing was ever wrong with him. His fur is growing back, and he is back to terrorizing the dogs in our house. We will be forever grateful for the compassion that was shown to us when we were in need, and for providing Theo with an opportunity to thrive well beyond his first six months of life."
